How the Internet Has Changed Our Lives

It’s a very obvious fact that as we move towards advancement, we become more and more dependent on technology. Our lives revolve around technology as we come into contact with it every day of our lives. The internet is the best example of such technology. Processes and communications have become so computerized that it’s literally hard to imagine a life without them. Indeed, our lives have changed for the better as tasks take lesser time than before.
Let’s take a look at the areas where technology is used the most and has caused a positive change.

Education:
Easy to see, the internet has made quality education possible for people, despite geographical boundaries. A person in Asia can and does have access to the same education as a person in the West. Online education has made it possible.  Pittsford University is an example of this advancement, being a premier online university with a global presence in over 100 countries.

Information:
Access to information is now possible no matter which country you are located in.  E-books, online encyclopedias, video banks and the like are universally accessible to all regardless of their location. This makes it easier for students, working adults and other people to get the information they need within seconds.
Healthcare:
It is now very possible for doctors to remotely access their patients and offer their medical services over the internet. Video conferencing and calling has made this possible. A lot of doctors carry out checkups and diagnosis this way and in many cases are able to help patients in time.

These are some of the many ways in which the internet is helping to change our lives for the better. Social media is another such innovation. At Pittsford University, students are extensively tutored on the many ways through which technology can be used to make lives easier so that the students are more tech smart as is the need of today’s world.
